The official release date of the new book "Socialnomics: How Social Media Transforms the Way We Live And Do Business" by Erik Qualman from Wiley Publishing is at the end of this month. However it is already available to order at Amazon.com.

It is believed that the author "makes a powerful case that social media has forever changed theway we live and do business. Socialnomics helps make sense of it all (Dr. Stuart Levy, Professor, George Washington University)."

Erik Qualman is the Global Vice President of Online Marketing for EF Education (Lucerne, Switzerland). Qualman works out of the 850 person Cambridge, Massachusetts office. His detailed bio is available at CrunchBase.

Socialnomics Sneak Preview of the Introduction is available at American-Novel.com, July Featured Title 2009. Qualman's blog bears the name of the book as well: Socilanomics.

Erik Qualman has published a video summarizing the main aspects of the book at his YouTube Channel: Social Media Revolution.

I have high expectation about this book and eagerly wait to get hold of it. Believe it will further our knowledge and provoke real action.

In addition to the influences by The Cluetrain Manifesto and Groundswell, I hope this new book will embrace and go beyond the contributions by the English expert Richard Stacy as well. Stacy writes a blog and has a well-known Slideshare presentation on the social media revolution, named by him as The Post-Gutenberg Revolution.
